Support Sen. DeMint for Appropriations

About the Make It Demint Campaign

Ever since Republicans lost control of Congress in 2006, Senator Jim DeMint has been working hard to convince his fellow Republicans that a return to fiscal responsibility and limited government principle is the way to regain the trust of the American voting public.

Sen. DeMint works tirelessly for limited government. One of the key places for that battle is the powerful Senate Finance Committee, which has authority over tax, trade, and entitlement policy.

In the aftermath of the 2008 elections, there is a spot to fill on the Finance Committee, and Sen. DeMint is ready to step in and help reform America's economic policy from the inside.  The Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, gets to decide which Republican Senator will fill the spot. Will he choose the old business-as-usual "seniority" system, or will he make his decision based on merit and grassroots support and choose Sen. Demint?

This is a powerful opportunity for the Republican Leadership now in Congress to prove they are serious about returning to an agenda of conservative economic, limited government principle.
For years, Senator DeMint has been a voice in the wilderness for lower, less complicated tax code, for fiscal responsibility, and for entitlement reform; Republicans should now make him more effective as a member of the Finance Committee.

Please help us support Senator DeMint and Take Action now.

Sincerely,
Dick Armey
